New Beginings Equine Rescue

Our Mission

New Beginings Equine Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe haven for unwanted, abused, and neglected animals since 2019. Our goal is to save as many horses as we can from needless slaughter. Many people are not aware that many viable horses are sold at auction daily for dog food or human consumption in foreign countries. It is our goal to obtain the horses that can be rehabilitated and or retrained. Once our staff has accomplished these tasks, we find forever homes for the now thriving horses. Our belief is every horse deserves a New Beginning.

At New Beginings Equine Rescue, we believe that every animal deserves to live free from fear, neglect, and abuse. We provide not only physical care and rehabilitation but also emotional healing to the animals that come into our care. Whether they have been abandoned, surrendered, or saved from dire situations, we offer them a safe space to heal and thrive. Our commitment extends beyond just the animals we rescue—we strive to educate the public about responsible animal care and the importance of compassion.

We take our role as stewards of this rescue seriously, ensuring that every action we take is rooted in honesty, humility, and transparency. Our N.B.E.R goal is to create a sanctuary where every animal, regardless of their past, is given the opportunity to live a life full of love and respect. We are here to make a lasting impact on the lives of the animals we save and the community we serve.

The goals for all of us involved with the ongoing operations at N.B.E.R, is offering health, healing, trust and ultimately, forever, loving homes, through our adoptions and foster care.

How We Help

Rescue

At New Beginings Equine Rescue, our rescue efforts begin the moment we receive a call about an animal in need. We respond quickly and compassionately, providing immediate care and shelter to animals that have been neglected, abused, or abandoned. Our team works tirelessly to ensure that every animal we rescue is safe and has the BEST chance at recovery.

Rehab

Rehabilitation is also a cornerstone of our mission. Once an animal is brought into our care, we provide comprehensive medical treatment, proper nutrition, and a nurturing environment to help them recover physically and emotionally. Our dedicated team of volunteers and professionals work closely with each animal, addressing their unique needs and helping them regain their health and trust in humans.

Re-Home

While we are a sanctuary for many animals, our ultimate goal is to find forever homes for those who are ready. We carefully match each animal with loving families who are committed to providing them with the care and attention they deserve. For animals that cannot be re-homed, we offer lifelong sanctuary, ensuring they live out their days in peace and comfort.

About Us.

New Beginings Equine Rescue began in 2019 as a small horse rescue in Mogadore, OH, and has since grown into a sanctuary for all unwanted animals. Over the past 5 years, we have expanded our mission to include a wide variety of animals, providing them with a safe and loving environment where they can heal and thrive.

Our rescue is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who pour their hearts into the care of our horses. These wonderful individuals, many of whom are full-time professionals, parents, college students, and community members, devote their time and energy to feeding, saving, fostering, and rehabilitating the animals in our care. Their love and dedication are the backbone of our nonprofit, and without them, our mission would not be possible.

At New Beginings Equine Rescue, we work closely with local veterinarians, trainers, and suppliers to ensure that each animal receives the best care possible. Our community involvement is crucial to our success, and we are proud to be a resource for animal welfare in our area.
